Emmy Boyette is the senior director of marketing for the NC Chamber. Overseeing the strategy for marketing and events, she uses creative techniques to find, connect, and engage with members of the business community who can benefit from our services.

Earning her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from UNC – Chapel Hill, Emmy went on to receive her master’s degree in teaching from NC State University. She attributes her skill in crafting memorable messages to her four years of being a high school English teacher and later adding marketing to her resume as a public relations manager for a small home services company in Raleigh.

Believing that when our business community thrives, our state thrives, she enjoys the work of the NC Chamber and being a part of a passionate, compassionate, and intelligent team who focuses on making our state a great place to live.

Emmy lives in Fuquay-Varina with her husband, three daughters, and two fur children. When she’s not at her desk creating brilliant marketing strategies, Emmy can be found spending quality time with her family, geeking out on crossword puzzles and PC adventure games, and tuning in to British period pieces on television. She believes a healthy life balance with realistic expectations is important and lives by the words, “Begin as you plan to continue.”
