As communications manager, Jennifer Dart leads public relations and crafts compelling messaging related to education & workforce, economic development, and workplace issues. She enjoys telling the stories of the many ways NC Chamber members make North Carolina the best state.
Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in sociology from William & Mary. She began her career working for public relations agencies, where she gained a solid foundation for media relations, message development, and strategic communications planning. From there, she recognized her passion for raising awareness about mental health and advancing college access. Jennifer served the American Psychiatric Association and the Common App before joining the NC Chamber in 2020.
As the NC Chamber fulfills its mission to ensure our state is a top place for business and community, Jennifer knows that she is making a difference and helping North Carolinians in some way each day.
In her free time, Jennifer can be found at the gym, attending concerts, or cheering for the Hurricanes from the stands. Her favorite form of entertainment comes from her cats, Dante and Oscar Wilde, plus the occasional murder mystery. She values the saying: “To thine own self be true.”
