Amy directs the overall financial plans and accounting practices of the NC Chamber as well as all subsidiaries and affiliates. The Chamber currently has three not-for-profit corporations, one for-profit corporation and two 527 organizations. Amy serves as Treasurer for five of the Chamber entities. She also oversees the consolidated external annual audit for all Chamber entities.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Amy brings more than 20 years of financial experience. Before joining the Chamber in 2017, she worked as the controller for Communities In Schools of North Carolina. Amy began her career in the public sector as an external auditor extensively for the not-for-profit and healthcare industries. She is a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Amy graduated with a Master of Accounting degree from North Carolina State University. She lives in Raleigh with her husband Stewart and their two boys. Amy enjoys NC State sporting events and cheering on the Carolina Panthers. As a native North Carolinian, Amy loves working at the Chamber to further secure the future of our state as a great place to live and work.
