Natasha Simmons is a valued member of the events and membership team working as an events manager. In this role, she supports the NC Chamber’s mission by providing ongoing opportunities for our members and community to learn about new laws, changes, and happenings in the business landscape through webinars and roundtable discussions.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Appalachian State University and has garnered experience while working with guests at The Walt Disney Company, liaising with members of the tourism community at the Rowan County Visitors Center, and most recently, shifting to event planning with membership organization, Catapult (formerly CAI). Natasha loves seeing an event come together following months of planning and finds it rewarding to see people have a platform to share their vision, updates, and stories.
Natasha believes our state is the best place to work and live due to the growth and diversity of the business environment. From watching new companies and ideas consistently introduced into our local communities, to exploring our mountains, beaches, national parks, wineries, and historical sites, she knows why North Carolina is a top state.
In her free time, Natasha and her husband volunteer at Raleigh Rescue Mission or Raleigh Dream Center whose mission is to bring hope and restoration to the hurting and needy through social services and community programs. She also enjoys reading, podcasts, visiting her favorite restaurants, and trying out new recipes, techniques, or ingredients in the kitchen or at dinner parties.
