NAM Member Focus Spotlights NC Chamber

Our president Lew Ebert recently sat down to share with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) just why manufacturing matters in North Carolina and what the NC Chamber is doing to foster continued growth and innovation in this key industry. In the March edition of their Member Focuspublication, NAM featured the North Carolina Chamber in their State Association Group (SAG) Profile. As the state manufacturing association, the NC Chamber not only works on the state level to advance pro-manufacturing policies, but we also work with NAM in the federal policy and regulatory arenas to protect manufacturers’ ability to grow and retain jobs. As the article discusses, workforce development is a key focus at the NC Chamber as we work on apprenticeship training and transitioning veterans into the civilian workforce with our state manufacturers.
