Helping Local Chambers Maximize their Impact.

An aligned business community is instrumental to the success of the Jobs Agenda, as well as advancing the initiatives outlined in North Carolina Vision 2030.

One of the questions our team fields most is how we work with local chambers of commerce. The NC Chamber manages a coalition of the state chamber and local chambers across North Carolina. The NC Chamber Federation meets throughout the year to discuss issues that are important to the business community. Additionally, the NC Chamber hosts a weekly call during the legislative session to keep NC Chamber Federation members abreast of the issues our team is working at the N.C. General Assembly. Throughout the year, we aim to ensure our Federation Members are equipped with the intel, tools, and connections needed to make the best possible impact in their communities.

Local chambers play a vital role in local communities across the state and it’s important the business community continue to invest in their efforts on the ground in your communities. The state chamber often defers to them on issues that impact a specific region or community.

The NC Chamber works to shape statewide public policy that makes North Carolina a world leader in job retention, job creation, capital formation, and quality of life. Substantive businesses will want to consider belonging to both.
