In early 2025, the NC Chamber launched the NC Infrastructure & Supply Chain Council.

The Infrastructure and Supply Chain Council comprises NC Chamber members and NC Chamber Foundation investors focused on addressing key issues in infrastructure and supply chain planning, development, strategy, investment, and policy in North Carolina. This council provides a collaborative platform with regular engagement for industry leaders, policymakers, and a wide range of stakeholders to discuss North Carolina’s infrastructure and supply chain future.

Members of the council may gain valuable insights, inform policy decisions, and contribute to solutions that drive economic growth and development in North Carolina across all industrial and commercial sectors with an interest in infrastructure and North Carolina’s robust supply chain ecosystem.

Surging costs from historic storms, revenue shortfalls, widespread project delays, and the COVID-19 pandemic have all contributed to our state’s transportation and infrastructure challenges. In addition, supply chains are often at the whim of geopolitical occurrences, labor strikes, government incentives, and political agendas, creating uncertainty for employers.

The NC Chamber and its Infrastructure & Supply Chain Council aim to set the temperature on these issues, ensuring that our state’s policies and budgets buttress the expansion and maintenance of reliable, safe infrastructure networks, while moving goods at the speed of business.
