Participate in Manufacturing Day on Oct. 3

| Manufacturing

On October 3, manufacturers across the country, including dozens in North Carolina, will participate in Manufacturing (MFG) Day by opening their doors to their local communities and students. Supported by a group of industry sponsors and co-producers, MFG DAY is designed to amplify the voice of individual manufacturers and coordinate a collective chorus of manufacturers with common concerns and challenges. We encourage you to join the celebration and participate in this year’s MFG Day! Learn more about MFG Day and how you can get involved.

MFG Day is a celebration of what 12 million people around the United States experience every day—pride at working in manufacturing. In North Carolina, manufacturing is the largest employer industry, accounting for 10.9 percent of the total workforce and employing more than 438,000 North Carolinians. As the state affiliate for the National Association of Manufacturers, the NC Chamber is proud to represent and advocate for our state’s manufacturers, the engine of technology development and innovation in North Carolina!

Already planning an event for MFG DAY? Let us know! We want to know how North Carolina manufacturers are getting involved in order to help spread the word!
