Mark Your Calendar for Manufacturing Day on Oct. 2

| Manufacturing

On October 2, thousands of manufacturers across the country, including dozens in North Carolina, will participate in Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) by opening their doors to local communities and students. Spearheaded by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and supported by a group of industry sponsors and co-producers, this annual event is designed to amplify the voice of individual manufacturers as they showcase their exciting contributions to our competitive economy in front of an engaged audience of community representatives and the students who will make up their future talent pipelines.

Manufacturing is the largest employer industry in our state, accounting for 10.9 percent of the total workforce. As the state affiliate for NAM, the NC Chamber is proud to represent and advocate for our state’s manufacturers, the innovation engines of North Carolina. We encourage you to join this celebration of the more than 438,000 North Carolinians – and 12 million Americans – who take pride every day at working in manufacturing! Learn more about MFG Day and how you can get involved.
