Peter Daniel Jr. recently joined the NC Chamber government affairs team as government affairs manager. He will advocate for agriculture, environmental and regulatory, energy, and telecommunications policies that benefit North Carolina’s competitive economy, while defending against those that threaten North Carolina’s ability to attract, keep and grow jobs. Peter joins a seasoned government affairs team dedicated to creating and growing a business climate that fuels statewide economic prosperity.
Peter came to the NC Chamber after serving as a project manager for AT&T North Carolina’s external and legislative affairs team. In this role, Peter helped develop legislative and political strategy, conducted policy research and collaborated across teams to coordinate legislative positions. Peter has developed key relationships with legislators, staff and state agency leadership over the course of his career, which has made him an effective advocate on behalf of his clients and North Carolina businesses. Peter has also worked for Jones Street Consulting LLC, Connect C LLC, and Capital City Strategies LLC. A graduate of North Carolina State University, Peter earned both a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business management and a master’s in public administration from the institution.
