According to Duke Energy, more than 18,000 workers from the US and Canada have supported restoration efforts in the Carolinas. While lineworkers and other storm responders continue rebuilding the grid in the hardest-hit areas of the N.C. mountains, Duke Energy workers have restored more than 3.1 million customer outages in the Carolinas, Florida and Midwest since Helene hit on Sept. 26. For the latest on the utility’s recovery work, click here to visit their Carolinas Restoration page.

The following videos are some of the restoration stories told by those on the ground. THANK YOU to all of the lineworkers and storm responders for the work you do every day.
