The candidates campaigning to be North Carolina’s Commissioner of Labor offer two different visions for our state’s business community. The race has seen little news coverage, but the outcome will have an impact on North Carolina’s business climate.

The NC Chamber’s vision for North Carolina includes maintaining our competitive position as a right-to-work state. The Labor Commissioner will also be the one to address the business community’s concerns with the first-ever Federal Heat Standard.
