NC Chamber Foundation Provides $50,000 for Business Recovery Funding to Western N.C. Chambers

RALEIGH, N.C. – Today the NC Chamber Foundation announced it has provided a total of $50,000 in grant funding to five western North Carolina chambers of commerce and chamber foundations that have established business recovery funds in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

A $10,000 grant was awarded to the following organizations in the mountains of North Carolina:

“In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, local chambers have played a crucial role in providing support and connecting resources for the business community. We are grateful for their leadership and proud to support the ongoing economic recovery efforts,” said NC Chamber Foundation President Meredith Archie. “The NC Chamber and NC Chamber Foundation are committed to working alongside our chamber partners to champion initiatives that restore and revitalize our state’s economy, ensuring that businesses can rebuild and provide opportunities for families and communities to thrive.”
