The NC Chamber supports House Bill 909, a bill that would establish a state infrastructure bank in North Carolina.

As outlined in the NC Chamber Foundation’s recently released white paper on the potential benefits of a state infrastructure bank, this type of sustainable and innovative funding mechanism could accelerate delivery of critical infrastructure projects by leveraging private and federal funding.

We urge members of the North Carolina House to consider supporting this legislation as a critical investment in our state’s future. We thank state leaders for their ongoing commitment to supporting efforts to improve and speed up delivery timelines for transportation, water and sewer, and other types of critical infrastructure projects needed to meet the demands of our rapidly growing state.
