Rusty Harris is president and COO, PSNC Energy; president, South Carolina Electric & Gas, and Gas Operations senior vice president, SCANA.
Rusty joined SCE&G, a SCANA subsidiary, as a customer service engineer in 1986. After holding various positions in Electric Operations, in 1997 he was named vice president – wires operations.
In 2003, he transferred to Gastonia, N.C. to be the vice president of operations of PSNC Energy, a natural gas business unit of SCANA Corporation.
In January 2006, Harris was named president and chief operating officer of PSNC Energy.
He became a senior vice president of SCANA in May 2012 and president of SCE&G, gas operations in February 2013.
Rusty and his wife LeeAnn live in Columbia, S.C. and they have a daughter and two sons. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
