Rebekah Wilson serves as deputy general counsel of the NC Chamber and secretary of the NC Chamber Legal Institute, the chamber’s legal and judicial advocacy affiliate. In these roles, she supports the chamber’s legal and policy initiatives and works to advance a fair, predictable and competitive legal climate for North Carolina businesses.
Before joining the NC Chamber, Wilson was in private practice for several years in Cary, North Carolina, where she focused on civil litigation and estate planning. She frequently represented small business owners, giving her firsthand insight into the legal and regulatory challenges facing businesses and employers across the state.
Wilson earned her bachelor’s degree in Western legal traditions from Liberty University and her juris doctor from Liberty University School of Law. During law school, she served as a summer law clerk to then-Justice Sam J. Ervin IV of the Supreme Court of North Carolina. She also served as chair of the Moot Court Board and managing editor of the Liberty University Law Review.
Through her work with the NC Chamber and the Chamber Legal Institute, Wilson draws on her background in litigation and experience representing businesses to help advance legal policies that support economic growth and a strong business climate in North Carolina.
