Fostering opportunities for foreign direct investment in North Carolina.

As North Carolina continues to be recognized as a top state for business, other countries are taking notice. The NC Chamber has positioned itself to serve as a facilitator for chambers of commerce and business associations internationally to build relationships in our state with the goal of, ultimately, increasing investment in people and communities across North Carolina.

Our team welcomes the opportunity to talk with you about how your members can invest in North Carolina.

I would like to talk more!

Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber)

In March 2024, the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry and NC Chamber signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the first international MOU for both organizations.

The MOU marks the start of a new relationship between NI Chamber and the NC Chamber, with both parties committing to work together to promote international trade, investment and cooperation. It includes pledges to leverage existing synergies between both economies, share research and learning, and foster new relationships between businesses on both sides of the Atlantic.

The partnership, which was affirmed at a signing ceremony in the Raleigh, has been welcomed by U.S. Special Envoy to Northern Ireland for Economic Affairs, Joe Kennedy III, along with a host of political and industry leaders, many of whom were present for the significant event.

The NC Chamber team has enjoyed visits and discussions with other groups representing economies across the globe, including Abu Dhabi, Colombia, and Liverpool. Stay tuned for more information on those relationships and more as we work to tell North Carolina’s story worldwide.
