Expanding Minority-Owned Business Vendor/Supplier Lists

| Labor & Workplace

Numerous NC Chamber members have expressed interest in expanding their list of vendors/suppliers to include more minority-owned businesses. Supplier diversity is vital for driving innovation, expanding into new markets, and fostering a more equitable business climate. It’s also a meaningful tool for economic growth and job creation—especially in often-overlooked communities. Below are useful resources compiled by our DEI Strategic Initiative Board.

For employees of all backgrounds, abilities, race, and gender groups, we know that it’s imperative that they feel seen, heard, and valued. And that includes the vendors and suppliers companies choose. Acting in our convening role, we hope these resources will provide an additional tool for your company’s continued DEI strategic plans.
