NC Chamber Releases 2025 How They Voted Legislative Session Review

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC Chamber released today the 2025 edition of its How They Voted report. This annual voting record highlights the legislation the NC Chamber supported or opposed during the 2025 North Carolina General Assembly session and evaluates how lawmakers stood up for job creators on these priorities.

This year’s report recognizes 105 Jobs Champions across the House and Senate.

The bills scored in the report were selected based on the NC Chamber’s 2025 Legislative Agenda and their alignment with the organization’s three pillars for forward-looking, pro-business advocacy: Education and Talent Supply, a Competitive Business Climate, and Infrastructure and Growth. These priorities reflect the needs and perspectives of employers across every region and industry, unified and elevated by the NC Chamber as the statewide voice of business.

“As we work to protect and advance North Carolina’s standing as a top state for business, job creators rely on leaders who take decisive action to keep our state competitive,” said NC Chamber President and CEO Gary Salamido. “The leadership demonstrated by this year’s Jobs Champions strengthens North Carolina’s ability to grow, attract investment, and expand opportunities for families and communities across North Carolina.”

Recognition as a Jobs Champion does not equate to an endorsement of future candidacy by the NC Chamber, the NC Chamber PAC, or any other Chamber-affiliated entity.

As the statewide voice for North Carolina’s broad-based business community, the NC Chamber will continue advocating for policies that enhance our competitive edge and expand opportunities for all North Carolinians. We appreciate our members and partners in pro-growth advocacy for placing their trust in the Chamber to deliver a clear, unified perspective on the issues that matter most to North Carolina’s economic future.
