Laura Mikesell is a business analyst at the NC Chamber, where she focuses on optimizing business systems and practices to enhance both internal workflows and member experiences. Laura enjoys taking a collaborative approach and working closely with colleagues — and her precious whiteboard — to continually improve processes. Prior to joining the Chamber, Laura worked in event planning and software project management, honing her skills in organization, problem-solving, and client relations.
Laura relocated to Raleigh from Washington, D.C., in 2015 to embrace new opportunities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary studies from American University, blending a wide range of academic interests into a versatile skill set. Outside of work, Laura enjoys crossword puzzles, sketching, and spending quality time at home with husband, Tony, their children, Henry and Sebastian, and their dog, Cherry.
