Solving the skills gap and making sure your business has the talent you need to succeed is a top priority for the NC Chamber. Our team is working on both short- and long-term solutions to address this issue, including our Talent Pipeline Management program. A key piece of any solution, however, must be high-quality data that informs any action—which is why we’re supporting a survey examining workforce solutions.
Organized by a doctoral candidate at North Carolina A&T State University, this survey will examine various approaches to solving the skills gap (including recruitment methods, on-the-job training and apprenticeships) and seeks to determine the decisions that lead to choosing any particular method.
If you’re interested in providing your perspective, this 15-minute survey is intended to be completed by the leader(s) responsible for making workforce development strategy decisions at a local level. While the survey is anonymous, participants may separately enter a drawing for a $375 Hilton gift card.
